Autumn Harvest Is Back!

The full moon approaches. Autumn Harvest returns to Telara!



The seasonal Autumn Harvest event will invade RIFT beginning October 26, 2017 and going through November 16, 2017. During this time, players will able to retrieve loot the Fae have stolen throughout the year by participating in Seasonal Rifts. Plus, your favorite events from years past are back, too!

New Dimension – Iron Tomb

This scary new dimension is modeled after the Iron Tomb. Make it your own with unique dimension items including new candles, candle holders, and more.

New Masks

Get in the festive spirit with all new Autumn Harvest masks! Don new faces including a mummy, decayed head, dragon skull, or a budgie.

Raven Wings

Take flight into the night with new raven wings – perfect for running around Telara or going to a dress-up party. These blackened wings also feature a subtle effect around the edges.

Necklaces Galore

Players have been asking for upgraded necklaces. Now’s your chance!

4.3 Crucia’s Claw is Here!

The latest chapter in RIFT’s Prophecy of Ahnket expansion is here! Battle Crucia’s fiercest generals in 4.3: Crucia’s Claw.

The Ascended must band together to fight off Crucia’s elite in order to turn the tide of war. If Crucia becomes too powerful, she will overthrow Ahnket and then set her sights on the Celestial Lands. You must stop her!

Spooky Login Rewards

Crucia’s Claw is ready to take hold. Come back October 25 – November 30 and get rewarded.



Players who log into RIFT from October 25 until November 30, 2017 at 11:59 PM local server time will receive a Harvest Rewards Cache full of spooky goods to help your character. The reward will be available in the item claim window, located at the top right in the UI.

Harvest Rewards Cache

• 2 Tenebrean Engines

• Used to upgrade powerful raid items.

• Box of Individual Reward Charges

• Contains 10 individual reward charges. Does not extend the cap of 100 charges and charges in excess of 100 will be lost.

• Glimmering Bag of Sparkles

• Contains 100 Phenomenal Sparkle, which are required for the monthly Patron quest. Sparkles that exceed the cap of 500 will be lost.

• Cape of the Underworld

• Spooky costume cape to help your character stand out!

Meet the Mystic Archer

The Mystic Archer is the newest mage soul, coming with the launch of 4.3: Crucia’s Claw.

Souls are something that set RIFT apart from any other MMORPG out there. Each calling has several unique options and skills to fit a wide variety of play-styles including tanking, supporting, damage dealing, and healing. Our newest upcoming soul is for the Mage calling: The Mystic Archer.

The Mystic Archer is a new kind of play experience within RIFT. Unlike any other Mage, it uses a mystical bow and shoots magical bolts. Mystic Archers utilizes situational awareness to attack with raw, unrelenting force against their enemies. Their offensive spells must be aimed, either by character movement or placing ground-targeted AoEs strategically for maximum devastation. It’s fast paced, highly survivable, and powerful.

This new soul will be available for 900 credits beginning October 25th. However, the rest of 4.3: Crucia’s Claw is free to all players.

RIFTstream Kelari Cuddles Costume Contest

This week RIFT streamer Kelari Cuddles is guest hosting the weekly RIFTstream!



The RIFT team is headed to TwitchCon 2017 in Long Beach, CA. Kelari Cuddles will be streaming in our stead and has a fun surprise in store for players! Autumn Harvest is just around the corner so why not an on-air Halloween-themed costume contest?



The contest will be held at the Planes Alehouse dimension by MissMimic@Faeblight (NA). Contestants should come and be prepared to dress quickly in spooky themes that will be revealed live on-stream. Your judges are the live Twitch audience! Plus, viewers will also have the chance to win prizes just for hanging out on the stream.

On Friday, October 13, 2017, RIFT’s Community Manager Yaviey hung out with with Sr. Design Director Dead Simon and Sr. Game Designer Tactius to talk about Autumn Harvest and Extra Life.


On Friday, Jennifer “Yaviey” Bridges (Community Manager, RIFT) was joined by Simon “Dead Simon” Ffinch (Sr. Design Director) and Chris “Tacitus” Cates (Sr. Game Designer) talk about Autumn Harvest and Trion Worlds’ Extra Life 2017. They showed off some of the cool new goodies that will be available in this year’s Autumn Harvest event, which arrives on October 26th, 2017. Some of the new items include a new dimension, the Iron Tomb, several masks, new raven wings, and more. Simon also hopped onto both EU and NA shards to run his special dev event that awards an eternal item.
