RIFT Patch Notes - October 2019

Here are the patchnotes for October 2019:


Callings and Abilities:

• Fixed a bug that could cause Clerics and Mages to be flagged for the wrong role. As a result the Warden soul will only be seen as a Healing soul and the Archon soul only be seen as a Support soul.

Cleric - Druid:

• Fixed a bug that caused Legendary Fae Mimicry to trigger on the incorrect ability. As a result Legendary Fae Mimicry will no longer trigger on Eruption of Life. The ability’s tooltip has been updated to reflect this change

Warrior - Void Knight:

• Increased the amount of threat generated by Tempest.

Battlepass:

• Electrostatic Transmogrifier will now count toward the battlepass mission ‘A New Look.’
• Increased the number of times that the Golden Devourer can spawn on each server.
• Limited the spawning condition of the Golden Devourer to only occur during certain world events and when a player has the Fool’s Gold weekly Battlepass mission.
• All rare mobs marked with a diamond will count for Battlepass missions that require players to kill rare mobs.

Call to Action events:

• The versions of Bydus that appear during the Freemarch and Silverwood zone events will not be damageable by ascended who are higher than level 30.
• The versions of Bydus that appear during the Stillmoor and Shimmersands zone events will not be damageable by ascended who are higher than level 55.
• Fixed a bug that prevented the Friendship achievement from triggering when using the Opal Unicorn.

World:

• Reduced the cooldown of Zone Events.
• Changed the Daily Reward charges granted from the Login calendar to be auto consumed.
• Updated the quest, ‘No one is safe!’ to reward the Rask companion pet, this pet was formerly granted by reaching level 5 in Atlas Reactor.

Unicornalia returns on September 20!

Sharpen your horns: Unicornalia is coming!

Expand your mount and pet collections during this time through spending either Credits or Chaos Motes.

Explore Telara while completing the Hooves and Horns Event and pick up 4 Daily Quests to collect Chaos Motes. You can find the corresponding NPCs in Meridian (/setwaypoint 6122 5231), Sanctum (/setwaypoint 7380 3078) or Tempest Bay (/setwaypoint 12943 11579).
